Credit Talk USA Live - President Obama starts a new special task force to investigate and prosecute those responsible for bad mortgages
A new special task force to investigate and prosecute those responsible for bad mortgages during the housing boom will be part of President Obama's 2012 agenda.
Obama announced Tuesday that he's asked the Justice Department to create a special unit of prosecutors and state attorneys general to investigateg abusive lending and packaging of risky mortgages that led to the housing crisis. And he's tapped an avowed Wall Street enemy, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, to help run the crime unit, according to a White House official. This new unit will hold accountable those who broke the law, speed assistance to homeowners, and help turn the page on an era of recklessness that hurt so many Americans," Obama said in his State of the Union speech.

Credit Talk USA Live - Entertainment News Madonna @ Super Bowl XLVI
Madonna isn't saying much about her upcoming Super Bowl performance - other than what she told ABC News a little while back: "I have eight minutes to set up my stage, 12 minutes to put on the greatest show on Earth, and I have seven minutes to take it down so that the football field is clean for the second half of the game."
Lest we forget, it only takes "4 Minutes" to save the world - so no doubt The Queen of Pop will provide something that can distract you from refilling the Doritos. Besides, she'll have plenty of backup: As per MTV News, the Feb. 5 spectacle is being "imagined" by Cirque du Soleil and Madge's creative director Jamie King. And then there are all those rumoured guest stars, including a couple of late-breaking additions - provided you believe whatever will.i.am tells you.
In an interview with radio station Capital FM, the Black Eyed Pea said LMFAO will be shuffling to Indianapolis for Super Bowl Sunday. "I'm going to the Super Bowl this year to see my group LMFAO perform with Madonna," will said in the interview.

Credit Talk USA Live - Do you know 3 Ways to Take Control of Your Finances in 2012
2012 should be the year to know where you are financially.. Don't miss Credit Talk USA Live 4pmcst http://www.blogtalkradio.com/credittalkusalive
After the overspending, overeating, and general overextending of December, it's hardly surprising that so many people choose to spend January turning over new leaves. But even beyond the month of new diets, new workout programs, and new strategies for resisting the siren song of cheesecake, the beginning of the year is the perfect time to try out new ways to manage your money.
Admittedly, personal finance websites are hardly new: For years, Mint.com and similar sites have offered users a centralized place to view their accounts, manage their money, and -- in many cases -- even pay their bills. But for many of the new entries to the game, online money management isn't just about watching accounts and moving money: It's also about changing the way people look at and manage their finances.

Credit Talk USA Live - The year of annoying fees for 2011 for consumers
Angry Verizon Wireless customers took to chat forums and social networks after the company said it would begin to charge customers $2 for making one-time bill payments online or by phone using a credit card.
Bank of America (BAC, Fortune 500), Wells Fargo (WFC, Fortune 500), JP Morgan (JPM, Fortune 500), Sun Trust (STI, Fortune 500) and Regions Bank (RF, Fortune 500) all planned to levy monthly fees of between $3 and $5 on customers for the privilege of using their debit card. The banks claimed that the fees were necessary because new regulations would limit how much revenue they could make on the cards:
